Export an entire Airtable base to CSV

Airtable only downloads one view at a time. This free tool downloads every table in a base as separate CSV files, bundled in one ZIP. No signup.

Create one at airtable.com/create/tokens with scopes data.records:read and schema.bases:read, and add the base you want. Delete the token afterwards if you like.

What you get

Large bases take a while: Airtable allows about 5 requests per second, and each request returns 100 records, so 10,000 records take roughly 25 seconds. Attachment files themselves are not downloaded, only their URLs (Airtable attachment URLs expire after a few hours).

Need this every day or week?

A one-off export is a snapshot. ViewCourier emails any Airtable view as a CSV attachment on a schedule (daily, weekly or monthly, at your time and timezone), so backups and reports arrive without anyone remembering to click download.

FAQ

Can't Airtable export a whole base by itself?

Not as CSV. The Download CSV option works per view. Duplicating a base or taking a snapshot keeps the data inside Airtable. To get every table out as files you need the API, which is what this tool uses.

Is my token safe?

The token stays in this browser tab. Requests go directly from your browser to Airtable's API; you can check this in your browser's network tab. Nothing is saved after you close the page.

Why are some columns missing?

Every field in the table's schema becomes a column, even if it's empty. If a field is missing, the token probably can't see it, or the field was added after you loaded the bases. Reload and try again.

Is there a record limit?

No hard limit in the tool. Very large bases (hundreds of thousands of records) may use a lot of browser memory.
