Print an Airtable view or save it as PDF

Turn one Airtable view into a clean, print-ready table: pick the columns, choose landscape or portrait, then print it or save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog. No signup.

Create one at airtable.com/create/tokens with scopes data.records:read and schema.bases:read, and restrict it to the base you want to print. Delete the token afterwards if you like.

Why not use Airtable's own Print view?

Airtable's Print view (in the menu next to the view name) prints the view as a grid, following its filters, sort and hidden fields. That works for a narrow view, but with many columns it takes fiddling with the view and the printer settings to get a readable page, and to leave a column out of the printout you have to hide it in the view itself. Gantt views can't be printed directly at all. This tool fetches the view's records and lays them out as a plain document table instead:

Values come out as the text you see in Airtable (we ask the API for display values in your timezone). Up to 5,000 records per printout; Airtable returns 100 records per request at about 5 requests per second, so 1,000 records take a few seconds. Attachments print as file names and links, not images.

FAQ

How do I save an Airtable view as a PDF?

Load the view here, adjust the columns and orientation, click Print / Save as PDF, and pick Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) as the printer in the dialog.

Does it work with Kanban, calendar or gallery views?

Yes. Any view's records can be loaded; they print as a table, with that view's filters and sort applied.

Can I get the PDF without the print dialog, automatically?

Not from a browser page. ViewCourier's scheduled PDF reports build the file on a server and email it on your schedule.

Is my token safe?

Requests go directly from your browser to Airtable's API; check your browser's network tab. Nothing is saved after you close the page.
